9 Classic New Years Resolutions You Should Consider …

New Year Resolutions-each year, we all make new ones, but what about classic New Year’s resolutions? A question you should ask yourself when you make resolutions, is “Do I really need to be focusing my time and effort on this particular item?” There are some things that we should each strive for in our lives, then there are other things that don’t truly matter as much. If I make a New Year’s resolution, I want to be sure that it is something worthy of devoting my time, self-control, and dedication to! With that in mind, please continue on to read 9 classic New Year’s resolutions you should consider!

1. Get in Shape

Losing weight is probably one of the classic New Year’s resolutions at the top of all of our lists come January 1st. But the reality is, no one can stick to a diet 365 days a year! So instead of deciding to go on a diet, decide to get into shape. By eating better and working out a few times each week, you will be surprised at the differences this resolution will make!

2. Eat Better

Another New Year’s resolution that falls flat after a few weeks is the choice to cut all sugar, fast food, soda and other unhealthy items from your menu. In truth, we all get to the place of needing/craving a little chocolate! So how about making the choice to eat better? Don’t completely cut cookies and candy out of your diet, just limit them and then add in more fresh fruits, veggies, whole grains and lean meats into your menu. You’ll feel much better and look it, too!

3. Drink More Water

I used to struggle with my daily intake of water, but since I’ve made it a habit and limited the amount of sodas and sugary drinks in the house, it’s become second nature! Start out small, don’t immediately jump from sodas all day to pure water. By taking it slower, your body will adjust 10 times better!

4. Floss Daily

Did you know that you can lower your chances of getting a cavity by 75% if you floss and brush daily? Not to mention the bright, white smile you will have! I’d say that is a New Year’s resolution worth making. Besides, it only takes about 60 seconds to floss, so add it to your morning routine!

5. Be on Time

Being on time is important no matter your age, job or status. When you are on time for something you’ve committed to, it says you are responsible, reliable, and that you care about other people’s time. Make a resolution that will affect more than just yourself, and resolve to be on time this year!

6. Be Organized

Organizational skills are one of the things that I do possess and I’m not bragging about it. I love organizing and being organized! One of the major upsides to being organized is that you will always know right where anything you own or need access to is right away! Try making one of your New Year’s resolutions to be more organized and see what happens, you might like it!

7. Think before You Speak

Here is an area that I have big trouble with. It’s only human to say the first thing that pops into our minds most of the time! By thinking before you speak, you could save a lot of time apologizing, clearing up misunderstandings, and hurting other people’s feelings. Say what you need to say, just remember to word it in a way that won’t get you into trouble!

8. Devote More Time to Family

A resolution I always try to make is to devote more time to my family. Time goes by so fast, and family is one of the most important things in the world! Even if it’s just a phone call, a text, or a quick brunch once a month, try to make this resolution one that you can stick to!

9. Get Enough Sleep

One of the reasons why many people tend to stay constantly stressed out is lack of sleep. This year, make a New Year’s resolution to get a full 8 hours or more of sleep at least 5 nights a week. The differences in your health, appearance, and attitude will be noticeable!
With these Classic New Year’s Resolutions, you will not go wrong! These are all areas that most of us could use improvement or at least a head start on. And even if you have other resolutions you would like to throw into the mix, I would strongly encourage you to consider these resolutions and at least give them a go. Do you have any New Year’s resolutions you consider to be classic?

8 Love Tips for Facebook When in a Relationship …

8 Love Tips for Facebook When in a Relationship ...Photo via blogspot.in

If you’ve ever been in a relationship that has went haywire because you didn’t have the right love tips for Facebook, you’ve got to take a look below. You might not believe me when I say that there are tons of love tips for Facebook and rules for things you can do and things you can’t do on Facebook, but there are. These love tips can actually save your relationship and make sure that you don’t overstep any boundaries. After all, why would you want to put yourself at risk just because of a social media website?

1. Don’t Flaunt a Fight on Facebook

Vague statuses, statuses that make people believe you are in a fight or are pointedly directed at your partner are not right. Love tips for Facebook should all start with this rule – because why pull people into your fight? Why pull people into something they have no business being in? Leave the fights and vague statues off of Facebook girls, you’ll be better off!

2. The Status Matters

Believe it or not, we are actually in a technology age and the status of your relationship actually matters. After all, you wouldn’t want your boyfriend in a relationship with an ex on Facebook right? The status matters and if you are stating single on Facebook, why be in a relationship? What are you looking for?

3. Delete Photos of Old Partners

Another great love tip for Facebook is all about deleting old photos of your ex. Girls, you wouldn’t want him to have old photos of his ex on his Facebook account would you? So why do you have those? Delete those and replace them with a bunch of pictures of the two of you!

4. Careful When Tagging Photos

Guys, this one is for you! You always want to be careful whenever you are tagging your girlfriend in a photo. Make sure that she knows that she is pretty or that it is a good photo of her. You never, ever want to tag her in something that she isn’t comfortable in or that she doesn’t think that she looks pretty in.

5. Online Affection Is a Must

Does your girlfriend or boyfriend post all over your wall and yet you don’t see them responding or even reading it? Online affection is a huge part of a relationship nowadays and even if you aren’t a huge Facebook fan, if your partner is, you’ve got to give it up and show them some affection online!

6. Unfriend Exes

Why, I ask you honestly, why do you need to be friends with your ex? Do you need to see him or her with another person? If you can, unfriend your ex so that not only can you move on, but so that your current boyfriend or girlfriend doesn’t flip out if you happen to like something of theirs or if they like something of yours.

7. Don’t Start a Fight on Facebook

Never, ever, ever start a fight on Facebook. These are stupid and truthfully, you’ll end up pulling in opinions that you never wanted to pull in. Girls, if you are feeling antsy or if you are getting mad, don’t immediately jump on Facebook and start to post about it.

8. Talk about Miscommunications

Finally, if there are any miscommunications in your relationship, why not talk them out instead of going back and forth on Facebook? Just remember, you are still in a relationship and that means that you’ve got to talk things out. It’s worth it in the end girls.
So, there you have it! All of my love tips when it comes to Facebook and how you should be using Facebook. Remember – you’ve just got to be respectful. So, what other tips do you have? Shout out in the comments!

8 Comedies to Watch with your Boyfriend …

8 Comedies to Watch with your Boyfriend ...
Every woman will know that awkward moment when she or her boyfriend suggests watching a DVD, and both then go silent as they wonder what on earth to watch. Rare is the guy who will watch, much less enjoy, a ‘chick flick’, and it can be hard to find something to appeal to both parties. Relax – I’ve done the work for you. Here are 8 comedies to watch with your boyfriend.

1. Wedding Crashers

Guys can cope with this because it stars Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, and they’re not romcom stars, right? Besides, they can relate to the idea of crashing parties for the free food and drink. Girls can eye up Owen Wilson – I believe he’s quite popular.

2. The 40 Year Old Virgin

Here’s another film that will please both sides. It’s actually quite sweet, as well as funny, and doesn’t make fun of the main character. Steve Carroll is great as the eponymous virgin.

3. Animal House

Not all girls will enjoy this, but if you’re in the mood for a loud, fun, raucous movie then give it a go. Personally I love it – especially the parade scene at the end. Don’t expect a classy movie, just sit back and enjoy a good laugh.

4. Young Frankenstein

Something of a precursor to the Scary Movie series (but a lot funnier), Young Frankenstein is a comedy classic. There are lots of great moments, but particularly of note is the dance routine … I defy anyone not to laugh at that scene!

4. Young Frankenstein

Something of a precursor to the Scary Movie series (but a lot funnier), Young Frankenstein is a comedy classic. There are lots of great moments, but particularly of note is the dance routine … I defy anyone not to laugh at that scene!

5. Grosse Point Blank

More of a wry comedy than a laugh-out-loud one, this is a great comedy to watch with your boyfriend. It might not seem too amusing that the main character is a contract killer, but place that within the setting of a school reunion, and the odd juxtaposition makes for an original concep

6. Meet The Parents

This should probably only be watched with your boyfriend if he has met your parents (and you his). Otherwise, that fear that your loved one’s parents won’t really like you may terminate the relationship fast …

7. The Jerk

If you have never seen The Jerk, then I command you to watch it right now! Made in the days when Steve Martin was really funny, it would make a great double bill with another Martin film, The Man With Two Brains.

8. Horrible Bosses

If you’re looking for a current film rather than something to watch on DVD, Horrible Bosses looks like it might be worth the ticket price for an evening’s entertainment. The black element makes it a good comedy to watch with your boyfriend.
So why not grab some DVDs, and have a movie night together? This selection of comedies to watch with your boyfriend will give you some great laughs. What other films can you suggest to suit both parties – or are you into action films while he prefers rom-coms?

9 TV Shows That Make You Laugh Out Loud …

9 TV Shows That Make You Laugh Out Loud ...

The idea of this post of 8 TV shows that make you laugh out loud came about after I sat down and watched a hilarious show on TV the other night. Usually a stickler for not staying up late and watching too much TV, I ignored my bedtime and sat on the couch laughing my face off. It felt great. Watching TV isn’t the best way to spend your time, but if it is a little comedic therapy you are after, then checkout these TV shows that make you laugh out loud.

1. Father Ted

This was the culprit that had me in stitches late one night last week. Father Ted is an Irish sitcom that was originally aired in 1995. It’s about three Irish priests who have been banished to a remote fictional island called ‘Craggy Island’ all for different reasons (money matters, womanising and an incident only described as ‘the Blackrock incident’). There is also Mrs. Doyle, the housekeeper, who always wants to serve tea. The four of them together make a ridiculously hilarious team and a seriously laugh out loud show with classic, honest humour that catches you off guard. This is one of my new favorite shows that make you laugh out loud!

2. Girls

The first time I saw girls was when I had the day off of work. Ashamedly I spent the entire day watching all 10 episodes of the series back to back. It is a dramedy following the lives of three girls who live in New York and make their way through life ‘one mistake at a time.’ It’s awkwardly real at points and cringe worth-ingly funny at other times. A refreshing take on what it’s like to be in your twenties and trying to figure things out with a load of laughs weaved throughout.

3. Modern Family

Oh Phil Dunphy. Who doesn’t love Phil Dunphy? Modern Family is an American comedy which is presented in a mockumentary style in which the characters talk directly to the camera at points throughout the show. Based around the lives of one neighborhood and their different spouses and children, it manages the balance between quirky family humor and sentimental cheese perfectly. A must see!

4. Little Britain

Little Britain is the kind of show that has you pulling out its catch phrases on a daily basis months after watching it. The show is a series of sketches that exaggeratedly and hilariously mimic all of the different social classes of Britain whilst being conveyed as a guide to Britain for non-British people.

5. Flight of The Concords

This witty show is about two New Zealanders who move to New York in search of stardom. The two main guys, Jemaine and Bret, perform songs throughout the show commenting on what is happening. You will not only laugh out loud during this show, but have a huge smile plastered to your face the entire time. It is intelligent, dry and witty as hell – checkout their song ‘Business Time’ here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGOohBytKTU

6. How I Met Your Mother

This funny American sitcom follows the romantic and social lives of a group of friends all living in New York. The group consists of five close friends, including a hopeless romantic on the search for true love, an insatiably cute couple, an womanizer with abandonment issues that only wears suits, and a Canadian news reporter with a love of scotch. It’s quirky, slightly eccentric humor never fails to make me laugh no matter how many episodes I watch

7. The Inbetweeners

Often crude, with many expletives and sexual references, this British sitcom is not everyone’s cup of tea. Based around the lives of four high school ‘geeks’ the show covers common situations, such as the boys trying to fit in at school and their (many) failed attempts at having sex, among other issues. A far more realistic take on what it is like to be a teenager with many cringe worthy moments to go along with it.

8. New Girl

After quirky elementary teacher Jess finds out her boyfriend has been two timing her she moves into a house with three guys – Schmidt, Nick and Winston – who all have their funny eccentricities as well. Each episode is about the social and sometimes sexual lives of the flatmates. You’ll find it hard to not to pick a favorite flatmate (mine is Schmidt) and Jess, who is played by Zooey Deschanel, is a refreshingly different take on a female main character.

9. Seinfeld

I could not have written this list of TV shows that will make you laugh out loud without including Seinfeld. When looking into the shows above a few of them quoted this critical favorite and cultural phenomenon of a show as a basis of their inspiration. Seinfeld follows the lives of the main character Jerry Seinfeld, and his three friends who live close by. All about the little day to day things in life like waiting in the line at the movies, lying about being too ill for work and then being caught out, or not being able to get a bad smell out of your car. If you haven’t seen it – watch it, and if you have I am sure you’ll be watching it again soon.
There’s nothing like cracking up on the couch to one of your favorite TV shows, falling in love with the characters and telling all your friends to watch it so you can talk about it with them. The list above has me entertained, are there any shows that you think should be on there also? What show makes you laugh the most?

7 Basic Stages of A Relationship …

7 Basic Stages of A Relationship ...

Stages of a Relationship can vary from person to person, but the jist of them are all the same. Every single relationship has all sorts of different stages and truthfully, it can be hard to tell which one you and your boyfriend are at right now. Well ladies, I’m going to make it easy! Below, I’ve got the 7 basic stages of a relationship for you to watch out for. These stages of relationships cover everything from first meeting all the way to the beginning of the end. So ladies, where are you in your relationship?

1. Just Met

So you just met a guy that you really, really like. This is one of the stages of a relationship, that it’s okay to get butterflies. That you can get giddy and not feel stupid. You just met a new friends, someone that you’re smitten with – it’s cute!

2. First Few Dates

The next stages of a relationship progress into the first few dates. This happens – of course, after you’ve met the guy. This is where you figure out if the butterflies and the excitement are true or if they were just excitement and butterflies from meeting someone knew. Take this time to explore the guy you are going out with. It’ll make all of the difference in the world!

3. The Talking Stage

While it might seem like the ‘first few dates’ stage and the ‘talking stage’ are the same stages of a relationship, but they aren’t. When you are first going on the first few dates, you aren’t really yourself are you? When you become a little more comfortable is when the stalking stage comes into play. After all, you gotta let your guard down at some point right?

4. Exclusivity

When you first start dating and get into a relationship, it’s not always exclusive is it? Once you cross over that line is when this stage takes over. This is when you can start referring to your boy as your boyfriend.

5. Long Time Commitment

So you’ve been together for a while now, you know one another pretty well and you’re ready to make that commitment. This could mean moving in together, taking your relationship to the next level or even just committing to one another. This is the part of relationship that can be scary – and good all at the same time!

6. Conflict

Being in a relationship is not always easy. We all know this, but one of the stages in a relationship is conflict. It could be that you two are fighting a lot or that you are just butting heads a little. It’s all part of growing up and growing together!

7. Proposal Or Breakup

Finally, you get to the choice. Are you willing to stay together without being married or are you going to give him an ultimatum? For some girls, being married is more important than just living together and being together. At this stage of the relationship, you’ve been together for a really long time and you’re going to want to decide, can you be with your man without being engaged to be married?

Going through all of the different stages of a relationship varies in every single relationship, but y’all do go through them all. I know in my relationship, I’ve been through each stage, maybe not at the same pace as it’s outlined here, as the Better Half and I were exclusive right from the get-go, but that’s not for everyone. So ladies, what stages of a relationship are you at right now?

7 Ways to Stay in The Honeymoon Stage of Dating …

7 Ways to Stay in The Honeymoon Stage of Dating ...

Relationships are great, but sometimes it can be hard to stay in the honeymoon stage of dating. The honeymoon phase is that part of your relationship where you two are infatuated with each other. For many relationships, this honeymoon stage of dating ends after a couple of months. Here are some of my tips to stay in the honeymoon stage of dating way past those first few months and keep the spark alive no matter how long you two have been together.

1. Go on Dates

After a while, it may seem normal to stay in every night and watch a movie, but to stay in the honeymoon stage of dating, try going out once in a while. It is reminiscent of the beginning of your relationship and will keep that spark going for you two. And it allows you two to take a night off and just focus on each other.

2. Get Dolled up

When you two are so comfortable with each other, when you hang out it usually means sweatpants and hair thrown up in a bun. And, while I’m sure your man loves you no matter what, sometimes it is nice to get dolled up for each other. If he is coming over, take a few extra minutes to do your hair, put together a nice outfit, and put on some make up. It shows your guy that you still would go the extra mile to impress him.

3. Keep Some Things to Yourself

During those first few dates, you may feel the need to tell each other every thing about yourselves, but it might be a good idea to keep some things to yourself. If you want to stay the honeymoon stages of dating, you should be able to still be learning about each other well after the first few months of dating. It keeps things exciting and allows you to keep some mystery about you.

4. Keep Things Interesting

To stay in the honeymoon stage of dating, you need to keep things interesting. Your relationships may become habitual, which is fine, but it is always nice to keep your man on his feet. The key is to be spontaneous and unpredictable. Surprise him at work or plan a unique date that is different that something you usually do.

5. Make Time for Friends

The honeymoon stage of dating is when you two can’t stand being apart, but it might be smart to make some time for your girls. If you two spend some time apart, it makes it that much more meaningful when you are together. If you are always together, when you see him, it might not be the butterflies in your stomach kind of feeling anymore.

6. Pay Attention to Your Feelings

If you want the honeymoon stage to last, you need to pay attention to how you feel and what makes the honeymoon stage so special. If you can pinpoint what feelings make you excited about seeing each other, you can focus on prolonging those feelings. Once you know what makes the relationships so special, it becomes easier to work towards keeping those special parts of your relationship alive long after the traditional honeymoon stage is over.

7. Put in Some Effort

The honeymoon stage of dating doesn’t come easily to everyone (props to you if it does). It is kind of like achieving that effortless look in the morning. It takes a lot of work into making it seem effortless. If you and your guy put in effort it making the honeymoon stage of dating last, that effort will pay off.
Did these tips help you stay in the honeymoon stage of dating? How do you stay in the honeymoon stage of dating in your relationship?

35 Shocking Pictures of Hot Celebrities without Makeup…

35 Shocking Pictures of Hot Celebrities without Makeup...

Perfection is impossible, except if you have the luxury of talented makeup artists and incredible Photoshop skills. Without that, most celebrities are…well…normal, just like any of us. Some of them have surprisingly stunning natural beauty, while others do rely on the magic of makeup and photo editing. It’s amazing to see what lies behind the facade of perfection that we are all exposed to. You really have to see these shocking pictures to believe it…

1. Adriana Lima

Whether she’s going a little nerdchic in her glasses or exposing her fresh face to the world, Adriana Lima is definitely a beauty.  The first pic is quirky and cute and the second proves that a little shine on the nose doesn’t matter if you have a ready smile and killer confidence!

2. Alicia Silverstone

From a distance, Alicia looks all right … quite pretty, even. But up close, her skin looks a little blotchy. Well, nothing a little foundation and concealer can’t fix. She deserves respect for going fresh faced no matter how you look at it.

3. America Ferrera

She might look a little grumpy but as far as I can see, she has lovely skin! Not bad at all without makeup. Maybe it’s the fact that I’m comparing this look to her Ugly Betty look!

4. Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga kind of stunned the world when she went without makeup, first for a full-out magazine spread and then in a series of selfies for her fans. I can’t say I blame her, with so many people saying such ugly and degrading things about her looks!  While I adore her theatrical makeup looks, I’ve gotta say, I think she’s pretty as a picture without a stitch of makeup.

5. Anna Kournikova

I have no complaints about how Anna looks without makeup, at least in this picture. She actually looks quite cute without makeup.

6. Avril Lavigne

Avril’s face looks all right sans the makeup but her eyes look shadowed! I guess it’s bound to happen considering the amount of eye makeup that she’s used to wearing.  Plus you know being a rocker girl is tiring!

7. Britney Spears

Britney looks like she has serious skin problems in the first two photos but the third one’s not bad at all! Sure, she looks a little tired but that’s hardly surprising considering all the stress she’s under constantly! She’s a mom, a pop princess, and an X-Factor judge now too.

8. Brooke Shields

Agreed this picture was captured at the wrong instant, but in spite of the awkward expression, it’s really not that bad!  Her skin is clear, that messy updo is rather chic, and her bone structure wins out over her lack of makeup.

9. Calista Flockhart

Omg! While Calista looks, gasp, normal without makeup, she doesn’t look bad.  This shows, though, that the right moisturizer goes a long way — the shine is the only thing I can criticize, and darlings, all you need is some rice paper for that!

10. Christina Applegate

Christina’s skin looks pale and a little blemished but by no means does she look bad without her makeup. A little eyeliner, some bronzer and nude lip gloss should bring the color back into her face!  Even as it stands, though, she looks just fine: despite the blotches, her skin is dewy, and her facial structure takes her far.

11. Christina Ricci

Christina Ricci gets a lot of flack, but beyond looking understandably tired, I actually think she’s proof that you don’t need to cake on makeup to look pretty.  Her eyes, lips, and button nose still look amazing, and her skin is incredibly clear.

13. Courteney Cox

I think Courteney looks like Courteney without makeup.  She looks like herself, just completely natural. The worst I can really say is that she looks closer to her age, but honestly, is that really such a bad thing?

14. Drew Barrymore

Drew Barrymore looks lovely without makeup. Look at her face! It’s so radiant and flawless!

15.  Eva Longoria

Eva looks “Plain Jane” without the makeup! She’s still very pretty, but she’s like the girl next door instead of around the block. I cannot believe how much different she looks with all the works!

16. Fergie

Fergie sort of needs to leave her poor eyebrows alone for a while, but other than that… I mean, with or without makeup, she has the full lips and strong facial features she’s known for, they don’t really need enhancements!

17. Gisele Bundchen

I think Gisele looks so pretty and fresh faced without makeup. No wonder she’s a super model! She’s proof that women are super models without makeup — you, me, and Gisele!

18. Gwen Stefani

I know it’s kinda hard to see her face with those giant sunglasses on but as far as I can tell, she is still the same Gwen.  Of course, without makeup, her pallor is more pronounced, especially around her lips, but with that smile, her casual ‘do, and great accessories, who needs makeup?  By the way, both pictures are from the same day when she appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel show. One before the magic and one after!

19. Halle Berry

I think Halle has a natural beauty about her. She might not look glamorous but she does look beautiful, and I’m loving her flawless skin!

20. Kate Moss

Omg! I had no idea Kate Moss would look this bad without makeup! It’s sad really… The thing is, I don’t think it has to do with the lack of makeup; I think it’s an indictment of some of the lifestyle choices she’s made.

21. Madonna

Hmmm… I’m kinda on the fence with this one. Madonna has the body of a rock star but her face has definitely been affected by age. Then again, you can’t really blame her for that, can you? She’s a mom, she still makes music and tours all over the world, and regardless of her age, she does take care of herself.  That bone structure!

22. Nicole Kidman

Wow! I would have never imagined that THIS is how Nicole Kidman looks without makeup. For her sake, I’m really hoping this is just a bad picture!  I’m going to venture a guess and say it is, because the weird expression notwithstanding, her skin is clear with her signature porcelain look, her eyes stand out, and I personally think her hair looks cute.

23. Uma Thurman

Hmmm… Uma pretty much looks the same. Maybe a little puffy-eyed but her transformation with makeup isn’t all that different to me. Again, there are some things you just can’t hide. Makeup might enhance her lips, eyes, and cheekbones, but they’re still standouts when she goes fresh-faced.  Take a lesson!

24. Heidi Klum

Wow! Heidi has the most amazing, impeccable porcelain skin I have seen! Okay, too many adjectives, but what can I say? Her face looks gorgeous! I can hardly believe makeup isn’t involved…

25. Kim Kardishian

I can’t believe I’m about to say this but Kim actually looks good. I hardly expected a pretty face under all those layers of makeup. Heck, I’ll say it: I think she looks better going natural. What about you?

26. Katherine Heigl

Katherine’s lacklustre without makeup, but she’s also still pretty.  She’s missing that red carpet “oomph,” but life’s not a red carpet and there’s no reason she should ever be ashamed to get caught without makeup.  Especially in that first pic, her smile is all the enhancement she needs!

27. Hilary Duff

Definitely cute sans makeup! That’s all there is to it!

28. Nicole Richie

Okay, the first picture is just hideous! I know, that’s mean, but to be fair, I’m pretty sure it’s her expression. The second is blah but not bad at all. I don’t mind her in the third one a bit. She looks healthy and rested. Motherhood’s done her some good.

29. Kate Hudson

One more to the neutral list, I suppose.  She looks a little washed out but pretty, don’t you think?

30. Rihanna

And this is why Rihanna deserves her title as one of the hottest women of today! She looks fabulous without makeup. Her skin’s glowing, her eyes are twinkling, and she’s even working that messy hair-do in the second photo… So no complaints here!

30. Rihanna

And this is why Rihanna deserves her title as one of the hottest women of today! She looks fabulous without makeup. Her skin’s glowing, her eyes are twinkling, and she’s even working that messy hair-do in the second photo… So no complaints here!

31. Lisa Kudrow

I’m beyond mortified by this photo! I really think this is just a bad picture, but it’s a good illustration.  Ladies, you don’t need to pile on the makeup and neither do your favorite celebs, but a little grooming goes a long way!  Greasy hair went out with ’90s grunge; if Lisa had a better coif here, I wouldn’t have any complaints — I even think the scowl is kind of cute!

31. Jennifer Lopez

She looks as fresh as the morning dew! Any woman who can look good in a wet suit without makeup is truly commendable…

32. Jennifer Hudson

I love Jennifer Hudson’s voice, and I don’t mind her without makeup either.  I’ll admit, I much prefer the first picture — see, ladies? Smiles are the best accessories.  The second caught her at the wrong time, but her skin is gorgeous, her eyes are bright, and I sort of love those messy, asymmetrical bangs.

33. Pamela Anderson

I’ve never really liked Pam but without makeup, she looks like a really pretty mom.  I think I like her better this way. It reminds me of her way-back Home Improvement days somehow.

34. Kate Beckinsale

When I first saw these pictures, I refused to believe that Kate had no makeup on! I mean no one has that perfect a complexion. So if it’s true that these in fact are pictures of her without makeup, I’m just gonna say WOW!

35. Christina Aguilera

I prefer this nude look so much better than her “Lady Marmalade look”! Though I’ve gotta say that I’m not a big fan of the hair color. Almost makes her look granny like… especially in the first picture! Kudos to her for posing sans makeup for Versace though… it takes some serious guts to do something like that. Shocking, huh?!

Don’t you feel a little cheated? I definitely do! But at the same time I’m glad that celebrities are not always caked in makeup… AND that there are times when even they can’t spare the 15 minutes to glam-up! Really takes off this whole pressure of having to look perfect all the time. And it’s always also nice to know that some celebrities are still beautiful under all that. Above all, just remember that you’re beautiful underneath all your makeup too — and like many of your favorite celebs, you probably look even better when you’re fresh-faced!
