20 Tips on How to Make a Guy Fall in Love with You

Spring has sprung, and love is in the air — so are some fantastic tips on how to make a guy fall in love with you! Whenever the weather starts getting warmer, we all start wishing we had a special someone to spend time with. Sometimes, it can be tricky to find – and get! – that great guy you’ve been wishing for. So, here are my top 20 tips on how to make a guy fall in love with you!  It’s all about confidence, being yourself and really putting yourself out there!

1. Be Yourself

All of my tips on how to make a guy fall in love with you surround being yourself.  If you’re fake, it doesn’t matter if you get a guy to fall in love with you, because he won’t really be in love with the real you. So, my first idea is to always be myself, no matter what, so a guy likes me for me.  After all, you would hate to fall in love with a guy that isn’t being himself right?

2. Optimize Your Appearance

Whenever I’m trying to be more attractive to someone, I always optimize. Now, this doesn’t mean I starve myself to look thin, buy tons of new clothes, or get a dramatic hair cut. Instead, I just try to make myself look my best. This means a cute outfit that emphasizes my best features, combed and fixed hair, a little makeup, a clean bright smile, and a spritz of light perfume.  I do this for myself, so I can be confident in who I am.

3. Listen

Guys love to talk about themselves, and they think a girl who actively listens to them is so charming. So, I always listen more than I talk when I was trying to attract a guy. Talk about yourself, current topics, news events, etc about 20% of the time, and let him control the conversation about 80% of the time.  If he is attune to women, he will ask you questions too and it’ll develop into a nice little back and forth conversation!

4. Laugh a Lot

Having a sense of humor is really important when you are trying to attract a guy.  Laughing at his jokes and even knowing how to take a joke can really make a guy feel like he knows a girl instantly!  If you’ve got a crush, laugh it up a little with him and see how he responds!

5. Have a Great Attitude

In my experience, guys like girls with cheerful, sunny dispositions. No one likes to hang out with a pessimistic, negative person. So, I always try to look on the bright side of life and be a “glass half full” person when I’m trying to catch a hot guy. People always tend to look my way more often and gravitate toward me when I’ve got a smile on my face!  So flash those pearly whites!

6. Be Sweet

Sometimes, I can be catty… all girls can be. When I’m with my girlfriends, we’ll gossip or trash some other girl for being rude or trashy, but that’s not a nice way to act. And, let me just tell you, I’ve learned that this kind of behavior doesn’t attract guys. Boys are drawn to girls who are sweet and don’t gossip, so keep cattiness and snotty comments to yourself around your new guy.  The occasional catty comment is okay, but keep it to a minimum!

7. Flirt

Some of my friends used to think flirting was beneath them, but I’m telling you – it works. Guys just love to be showered with attention and treated like a king. So, toss your hair a little bit, throw your head back and laugh, grin a lot, and look up and him from under your eyelashes. Even those these old tricks might seem tried and true, they’re tried and true because they actually work!

8. Be Different

Trying to be unique and different is a way I’ve always tried to interest guys. I don’t want him to think that I’m just like all the other girls out there… instead, I want to be seen as charming, witty, and smart. So, I don’t talk about all those same old topics, like school gossip. Ask him about how he feels about current events or newsworthy stories and show him you’re worldy!

9. Be Witty

Everyone has a bit of charisma to them and a witty side, why not show that?  I know it can be difficult sometimes, if you are around your crush, but don’t get too tongue-tied and just go for it!  Remember when I said that a guy likes a girl with a sense of humor?  Show that side of yourself to him and be confident in who you are!

10. Initiate Physical Contact

Guys love physical touch, and touching someone is a quick way to develop intimacy. So, when I’m trying to attract a guy’s attention, I will look for ways to bring physical touch into play. For instance, I touch his arm lightly when I’m laughing at a joke, or I’ll slap him on the knee playfully if he says something funny, or I’ll touch his hand while I’m explaining something.

11. Bring Him a Treat

The old saying that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach isn’t just an old saying for no reason- it’s totally true! I always bake a little treat for a guy when I’m trying to make him fall in love with me, and then I just surprise him with it on a random day. When my husband and I were first dating, I left a bag of treats in his locker before every football game. He just loved it!

12. Give Him Freedom

When a guy’s trying to determine if you’re girlfriend material, he will test you a little bit. My advice at this point is to give him his freedom, and that will send him right back for more. In my experience, if any guy ever got the impression that I’d try to tie him down, he’d be gone lightning fast. So, let your guy know that you value and respect his time with his friends, playing sports, or whatever it is he does in his spare time.

13. Let Him Call You

When I’m trying to get a guy, I play a little hard to get. I don’t call him all the time, try to track him down, or generally make myself a bother. I want him to think that I’m too busy out there having a great time to bother with him, and that he better get in touch with me quickly if he’s interested in sharing any time with me! Let him do the pursuing, and he’ll be much more interested in you.

14. Practice Mirroring Strategies

Okay, this seems a little creepy at first, but just hear me out. Whenever I want to impress or charm someone (not just guys, but anyone), I do a little physical mirroring. What this means is taking whatever physical action that person does, waiting about five seconds, and then copying the motion. For instance, if your guy rests his elbow on the table, wait five seconds, and then put your elbow on the table. Sounds silly, but it works! It creates a connection between me and the guy that he just can’t explain.

15. Make Eye Contact

Staring deeply into someone’s eyes quickly ramps up the intensity of the connection between two people. So, if I’m trying to get a guy to fall in love with me, I stare deeply into his eyes while we’re talking. Now, don’t look too long, or you’ll appear to be a stalker… but you definitely want extended eye contact. Remember the scenes in Twilight where all the sexual tension developed between Edward and Bella just based on eye contact? That’s what I’m talking about.

16. Don’t Appear Desperate

Guys want someone that is confident and someone that is secure in themselves. Even if you aren’t confident, don’t worry, there are tons of ways to build it.  Start small and just go from there.  I know not appearing desperate is hard, but if you appear to have it all together and even play hard to guy?  Your crush will like you even more!

17. Be Trustworthy

Guys love someone they can trust. I learned the hard way that telling my girlfriends every thing about a new guy in my life wasn’t the best idea. Word always gets back to the guy that I’ve talked about what he told me or told details about our time together, and he always bolts. So, discretion is the best policy. Don’t tell your girls every little bit of your private conversations, and your guy will trust and respect you much more.

 18. Leave a Little Mystery
When I am trying to attract a guy, I don’t want to be an open book to him. I’ve found that guys like a little mystery… they keep coming back for more if you leave more to find out. Think of your information, history, interests, etc. like a treasure hunt… give your guy little clues, but don’t let him find the treasure right away. He’ll want to keep calling and asking you out just to learn more about you!

19. Be Supportive of His Interests

Guys love it when a girl takes an interest in what he likes to do.  Even if you don’t necessarily like what he is into (like video games or sports!), just give it a try — that way you can have some common ground.  Guys, that also means that you’ll have to take an interest in your girl’s interests too!  A relationship is a two way street.

20. Hold off on The Physical Intimacy

My last tip has to do with physical intimacy, or making out, heavy petting , or sex. If you truly want to make a guy fall in love with you, you’ve got to hold out on stuff like this for as long as you can. Most guys I dated and are friends with just go after a girl for the thrill of the chase at first. It takes time for them to realize that they actually care about the girl. The Best Restaurants in Walt Disney World are as magical as you would expect them to be! With over 360 dining locations to choose from, the best restaurants in Walt Disney World can be hard to find. That is why I have compiled a list of my 7 absolute favorites that you MUST try the next time you go to Walt Disney World!

1. Victoria And Albert’s Restaurant

Located in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is one of the highest rated restaurant’s around, Victoria and Albert’s. This AAA 5 Diamond restaurant is among the 3 most critically acclaimed restaurants in all of Florida. Your taste buds will be delighted for over 2 hours and 6 courses. However, if you really feel like splurging, you can book a table inside the kitchen of Victoria and Albert’s. Only one table a night gets this honor, so it is best to make reservations at least 6 months in advance.

You will get an opportunity to visit with the chef’s about the likes and dislikes of those in your party and then the chef will create a customized eleven-course meal just for you! Women are required to wear dresses or pant suits while men must wear a dinner jacket.

Victoria and Albert’s is one of the few places in Disney World made especially for adults. Children under the age of 10 will not be served here, making this the perfect place for a date night with your hubby. The menu changes daily and for an additional fee, the kitchen will do a wine pairing for you based on the current menu. Victoria and Albert’s attention to detail is what sets this restaurant apart and makes it number 1 on my list of the Best Restaurants in Walt Disney World.

2. Le Cellier Steakhouse

In the Canada Pavilion section in the Epcot Theme park, you will find Le Cellier Steakhouse. While the simple wooden sign and the stone walls may look modest from the outside, the inside of the restaurant is anything but. Everything from the interior to the menu is inspired from the provinces of Canada.

This quaint restaurant is a haven for red meat lovers with menu options like filet mignon and prime rib. While the meat may get you drooling, it’s their Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup that will keep you coming back. You can finish your meal with some vintage wine and delicious chocolate ‘moose.’ This is one of the most famed restaurants in Disney World so reservations must be made 6 months in advance to guarantee your place at a table.

3. The Hollywood Brown Derby

The Hollywood Brown Derby Restaurant is an authentic replica of the famous Brown Derby in Hollywood, so it’s no surprise you’ll find this restaurant in the heart of Hollywood Studios in Disney World. When you open the doors, you will be instantly taken back to the golden age of Hollywood. You will see caricatures of famous faces all over the walls so you will really feel like you are dining with the stars!

The menu is contemporary American cuisine with many mouth-watering dishes. The filet of beef is juicy and free of fat, which makes it tender enough to cut with a fork. For dessert, The Hollywood Brown Derby is famous for their original grapefruit cake. This restaurant features an extensive wine list and cocktails are poured right at your table. All of these aspects make The Hollywood Brown Derby one of the best restaurants in Disney World!
 

4. Jiko – The Cooking Place

Jiko – The Cooking Place is a restaurant inside the Animal Kingdom Lodge in Walt Disney World that combines the flavors of African, Indian, and Mediterranean cuisine. The interior of Jiko is designed after African cultures. The color scheme is reminiscent of a beautiful African sunset and there are sculpted birds ‘flying’ overhead. There are tiled columns throughout the restaurant with rings at the base to represent the Padaung tribe, whose women wear rings around their necks. As soon as you enter Jiko, you are greeted by twin wood burning stoves and a friendly wait staff.

The menu here is a little more daring than some of the other restaurants in Disney World, but it is oh so delicious! Another aspect that sets Jiko apart is that their wine list has one of the most extensive options of South African Wines in North America. If that’s not your style, maybe one of their many award-winning wine options will suit your fancy!

5. California Grill

This restaurant has been a staple in Disney World since the Contemporary first opened (although it has had 2 different names) and there is good reason it has stuck around so long! The California Grill is always receiving new awards and honors thanks to the innovative chefs and the incredible quality. The menu is market-inspired, meaning it changes with the season. Perhaps my favorite part of Disney’s California Grill, however, is the view. The panoramic windows look out over the water and glistening in the distance is Cinderella’s Castle. At night, this best restaurant in Walt Disney World is the prime location to watch ‘Wishes’ Disney’s fireworks display. It is so much fun to book a late reservation and order cocktails and appetizers while watching the sky light up with fire!

6. Cinderella’s Royal Table

If you have a little princess with you or if you are one yourself, Cinderella’s Royal Table is the perfect restaurant for you. While the food is just average here, the experience you get is enough to last a lifetime! Cinderella’s Royal Table is one of the very few places inside Cinderella’s Castle tourists are allowed inside. While waiting to go inside the dining room, you will be greeted by Cinderella and she will hand out magic wands and sabers to all the children. She will then lead you up a winding stone staircase to a dining room fit for a queen! There are plush red and purple velvet curtains draped about and the light shining through the stained glass windows dances around your table. The vaulted, stone ceilings are draped with banners from the ‘kingdom.’ Your children will also be delighted to meet Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother, Suzy, Perla, and sometimes, another Disney princess or two. This is truly one of the most magical places in Disney World making this one of the Best Restaurants in Disney World!

7. Teppan Edo

Teppan Edo is a hibachi-style restaurant located at the Japan Pavilion in Epcot. Hibachi is fun for the whole family and with 8 seats around each grill, it is the perfect place to dine if you are with a large group. You and your kids will be delighted with the tricks these trained chef’s will perform while cooking your food. Entrees are served with udon noodles and rice and you can get an assortment of meat such as shrimp, chicken, or even filet mignon. Teppan Edo is the perfect restaurant for a delicious dinner with an entertaining show!

These 7 Best Restaurants are what keeps me coming back to Walt Disney World again and again. Although I love to try a new restaurant each time I go, I am always drawn back to these favorites! 12 Delightful Valentine’s Day Decor

In addition to decorating your door and mantel for Feb. 14, you might want to look into other craft projects for this month, too. To help you out, we have here 12 Valentine’s Day Decor. These are cute, creative, and wonderfully romantic. Dress up your home with these Valentine’s Day decor and you are sure to feel 10x more in love, I guarantee it.

1. M&Ms Topiary

Those pink, red, and white circles are M&Ms! Very cool, yes? If you want to make your own, you will need a flower pot, a round Styrofoam ball, a wooden post or dowel, paint, Valentine’s Day M&Ms, ribbon, moss, and hot glue

2. Tissue Paper Fringe

Tissue paper is always a handy craft material to have. If you happen to have some in pink and red, you can use them to make this lovely fringe Valentine’s Day decor. This is a simple cutting and gluing project that your kids can help you with.

3. Jar Candles

Here is an idea that can prove useful come Valentine’s night. You can use these to set the tone in your home for that lovely dinner you are planning.

4. Mailboxes

These are all sorts of adorable! These would be great for writing notes to members of your family. Perhaps you can write a note a day until the 14th? The mailboxes used here were bought in Target. They were then glued to spray painted candlestick holders and embellished with scrapbook paper letters.

These are absolute darling as well. And so easy to do! If you can’t find wooden hearts, you can always use cardboard or card stock. I think foam sheet will work, too.

How cute is this Valentine’s Day decor? Much like the first tutorial, you will need a Styrofoam ball to make this lovely project. You will hot glue silk flowers to it and then hang using pretty ribbon. Easy-peasy

This is probably the easiest project among these DIY Valentine’s Day decor. To make your lovely bottle beauties, you spray paint them white, wrap double sided tape around the middle section, and roll them around hole punches. Fun!

This idea is fantastic for those who love to change their home decor quite frequently. You simply make a new design to frame every month or whenever you feel like celebrating a a special day.

18 Tips to Make Your Eyes Stand Out …

Do you love eye makeup that makes your eyes stand out? I know I do. Because of that I am always looking for tips to make your eyes stand out. Here’s a list I put together to share with you girls.

1. Blue Eyes

If you want to make your blue eyes stand out start by using the right eye shadow colors. Brown, beige and silver work best, but maybe not altogether.

2. Brown Eyes

Browns eyes can really pop with gold, tan and blue shades of shadow. The color contrast is what helps bring them out.

3. Green Eyes

Can you guess what colors will make green eyes stand out? Makeup artist suggest using purple, blue, sliver and pink to really emphasis green eyes.

4. Small Eyes

Sometimes smaller eyes don’t get as much attention, but with the right eyeliner tips you can really make your eyes stand out. You are going to want to line your top lash line from the midpoint of our eye to the outer edge. You can even go beyond the edge just a little. Also line your lower lash line a quarter of the way in. This technique draws attention to the outside of your eyes making them appear larger.

5. Brighten up

Are your eyes looking a little dull? Try to brighten them up with a little peach or beige liner along the bottom rim from corner to corner.

6. Eyelashes

My favorite way to make eyes stand out with by curling lashes. If your lashes are straight or point down this technique will really open up your eyes.

7. Mascara

 
mascara has a way of taking your face from boring to vivacious. Black mascara is the key to making your eyes stand out. In my opinion without mascara all other techniques are useless.

8. Even Brighter Eyes

Another tip to brighten up your eyes is to use a little white shadow on the inside of your eye near the tear ducts. Just this little bit of white can make a huge difference.

9. Highlight

 

Don’t forget to highlight your brow bone. This is the area beneath your eyebrows and above your crease. Add a simple light white or beige shade to the area for full effect 

 

10. Eyebrows

While we are on the topic of eyebrows let’s not forget to keep those bad boys tame. Unruly eyebrows can draw attention away from your eyes. If you want your to make your eyes stand out be sure to pluck or wax your brows.

11. Deep-Set Eyes

Do you have deep set eyes? If you do here is little tip. Use a shimmery shadow in the hue appropriate for your eye color. The shimmer will draw your eyes out more.

12. Neutral Lip Color

Either you want to draw attention to your eyes or your lips. You can’t do both. That’s just too much drama for one face. If you want to make your eyes stand out wear a neutral lip color.

13. Dark Circles

Conceal dark circles under your eyes. We want people to notice your eyes for good reasons, not because you have bags and look like you haven’t slept in days.

14. Black Liner No-No

While a heavy black eyeliner circle around your entire eye will attract attention, it’s not the kind of attention we were seeking. Avoid doing this. It makes your eye look really small.

15. False Lashes

I think fake lashes look terrific and with black liner are gorgeous for a night out or a special event. I don’t think the same look is as effective for a run to the grocery store or post office. Save the all that glamor for the right occasion.

16. Glasses

Do you wear glasses? Don’t worry you can still make your eyes stand out. Add a light concealer underneath your eye all the way to the outer corner. The light color attracts attention and hides in shadow caused by glasses.

17. Bigger Lashes

If you want to add more drama to your lashes without going all out with faux lashes, trying applying a couple more coats to the outer lashes. It will make them appear thicker and longer.

18. Bottom Lashes

Sometimes these poor little guys just get forgotten, but if you really want to make your eyes stand out you will show them a little attention. Don’t go crazy, one or two coats of mascara should be enough.

7 Adjustment Tips for a New Relationship

There are so many tips for a new relationship out there, how do you know which ones to follow? There are so many ways to get comfortable in a new relationship, it’s really difficult to actually tell which rules are going to work out for you. If you’re in a brand new relationship and are dying for some tips for a new relationship, take a look below girls! I’ve got all of the adjustments and tips that you’ll need!

1. Depending on Someone Else

One of the biggest adjustments that I had to make when I was first starting out in a relationship was learning to depend on someone else. This is one of the tips for a new relationship that you’ve got to take a heart girls, especially if you are super independent. Sometimes, it’s okay for your partner to take care of you and for you to lean on them if you need something.

2. Letting down Walls

Another huge adjustment that you’ll have to make when you’re first getting into a relationship is letting down all of the walls that you’ve built up around yourself. Truthfully girls, this is a hard one to let go. I know that letting someone inside and letting them know you completely is hard, but it’s worth it!

3. No Baggage

I know that baggage will eventually make its way into your relationship, but in the beginning, you shouldn’t have any baggage or let it interfere with your relationship. Baggage is something that can ruin a brand new relationship and sometimes, can overwhelm your partner right away!

4. Leave past Relationships in The past

Always, when you’re entering a brand new relationship, you’ve got to leave your past relationship habits and past relationship assumptions in the past. This is a new person, girls. You don’t have to put everything from your past relationships on them.

5. Open Communication

One great relationship tip for a new relationship that I had to learn was having open communication. If you aren’t used to having any open communication with anybody, it can be hard to switch up your thinking and really start sharing with your partner. It’s an adjustment, but it can be done, girls!

6. Sweet Surprises

When you have a partner, having sweet little surprises delivered to you or even just coming home to a home-cooked meal can make all of the difference and really make you appreciate being in a relationship. When my partner and I first started dating, I used to love coming home to a home-cooked meal once in a while – that I didn’t even ask for. She would surprise me all of the time!

7. Including Them in Plans

When you’re in a relationship, you don’t always have to think of the other person, but you do have to think about including them in your plans. If you are thinking about moving, how is that going to affect your relationship? Think about yourself, especially if the relationship is very, very new, but consider your partner too.

7 Reasons Why Life after University Isn’t So Bad …

One of the scariest times in your life will probably be after you’ve left education for the last time – it certainly is for me; but life after university doesn’t have to be so terrifying. Chances are, you’ll be moving back home and looking for a full-time job. You’ll miss you friends, your freedom and probably your sense of direction. You may feel lost, but you don’t have to be; here are my tips for why life after university isn’t so scary, after all. And I will certainly be trying to follow them.

1. MONEY

The most obvious reason for why life after university isn’t so bad. If you’re going into full-time work, you’re going to have a lot more earning potential than you did working behind the student bar every Wednesday and Friday. You could start saving for the things you really want now: a house, a car, a holiday… whatever you want.

2. FAMILY & FRIENDS

For most people, one of the hardest things about leaving for university is leaving their families and friends behind. Not permanently, but it’s still a radical change. Once you’re back home, you’ll have more free time to spend with your family, and a chance to reconnect with your old friends. You’ll soon realise how much you’ve missed them.

3. BE LAZY

This is one of my less noble reasons – okay, so you’re officially an adult; but the time where you’ve moved back home and you’re trying to get on your feet is the time when you can be treated like a kid again. Did you get dinner cooked for you and your washing done by your mum whilst you were at university?

4. POSSIBILITIES

So, unless you’re one of those people who have always known what they wanted to do with their lives (I envy you!), you may be feeling scared at the prospect of what’s coming next. Try not to think of it as frightening, but as an endless list of possibilities. A career fast-track? Discovering an interest in a industry that wasn’t even on your radar before? Travelling the world? Post-grad study? It’s up to you to decide.

5. STRUCTURE

Did you ever find yourself aimlessly wandering around campus, or cooking about ten meals a day whilst you were at university? I did, because I had a lot of spare time and it was up to me to define my working hours. Now, you have a clear structure – and the time you do have off will feel special, well-earned and probably very busy.

6. MULTI-TASKING

Similarly, with a defined routine, you’ll know when your free time is and how you want to spend it. And because your free time is more precious, you may want to spend it doing something more productive. With today’s tough working climate, lots of people take a second job or embrace a hobby doing something they really love, like DJ-ing, writing, baking or something artsy. The world is your oyster.

7. EXPERIENCE

Whenever you feel sad that your university life is over, think about what a truly great experience it was – all the highs and the lows. Then think how short a time it was, and how much time you have ahead of you – and how many wonderful experiences you have left to come.

Life has to change; if it didn’t, you would get bored, no matter how much you enjoyed yourself at the time. What makes the difference is how you view the change! I’m still learning – does anyone have any other tips? What are your own experiences?
